How are the Small Group Classes run?

Individuals are assigned to an area in each class

You stay in your designated area throughout the class. This prevents sharing of equipment and props. Each area is spaced 1.5m from the next and has a reformer plus other Pilates equipment to ensure you will get variety in the exercises.

We offer 1-hour and 45-minute group classes

Each group class has a maximum of 4 participants to allow for close supervision and tailored programs. The main difference between the 1-hour & 45-min group classes is the duration. 45-min group classes are very popular amongst our senior participants as well as time-poor working professionals. In the 1-hour group class, you get to enjoy an extra 15 minutes of great Pilates exercises (you can achieve a lot in 15 minutes!). Regardless of class type, we aim to provide you with a full body Pilates workout in each class and help you manage any injuries or specific issue you may be experiencing.

What do I get out of Small Group Classes?

Customised programs to achieve your goals

Everybody’s fitness goals are different. You may be doing Pilates to improve strength or flexibility, tone up specific areas or improve your posture. Smaller classes allow us to customise your program to achieve your goals. Your workout will be tailored to suit your needs.

Close supervision for better form

Unlike big group classes where you get minimal or no correction, we want you to get the time and attention you need. You will be supervised closely to ensure you are doing each exercise with the correct technique to achieve better form.

Individualised attention to track progress

Small class size means more individualised attention. The teacher has a better understanding of your strengths, limitations and weaknesses. You won’t get lost in a crowd of people and your teacher is better able to track your progress and abilities.

Personalised Approach for best results

We want the ability to address your distinct needs, not just a generalised class with routine exercises. This personalised approach allows you to feel safe and confident with the customised workout that suits you,

Feel stronger, stretched, opened & more relaxed after each class

Smaller classes allow social interactions that isn’t afforded with large, crowded classes. Our clients have built friendships from the small group classes  and we take pride in building our Pilates community. You will forget about your daily stress during class. We offer a friendly, warm, fun and relaxing environment. Our teachers are supportive, patient, calm, nurturing, qualified, experienced and knowledgeable. You will feel great after each class and you will get the best possible results.
