Before starting your group or private classes, we conduct a one-on-one assessment to ascertain your body's strengths and weaknesses, past medical history and any rehabilitation requirements. Through the initial assessment, you learn to engage your core muscles correctly. You learn the principles of Pilates. Your posture and movement will be assessed during the exercises. Your goals, needs and any concerns will also be discussed. Your fitness and Pilates level will be determined from this assessment. This information is then used to design a personalised program to help you achieve your goals.
